Patrick Poitz (Germany)

Patrick Poitz is a Berlin DJ. He first got in touch with electronic music when he was merely 7 years old. At the age of 15 he went to his first ever house party and wondered why the DJ didn’t only play the good stuff. That’s one of the main reasons why, only 3 years later he decided to become a DJ himself and started mixing tracks. 2008 he became one of the resident DJ’s in the infamous club ‘Tape’. So far he played at many clubs, bars and open airs all over Germany such as Club der Visionäre (Berlin), Tresor (Berlin), Goethebunker (Essen)….

Records from the early 90’s and vinyl from nowadays define his individual style. Only vinyl of Detroit House, Chicago House, Deep House or Garage house can be found in his bag. Lately he took his first steps in producing his own tracks and probably sooner or later there is going to be a release of his first tracks.
